Ah well, I guess by this time the OP has become completely disgustipated with GC. Whether she comes back or not, I wish her the best in dealing with her disappointnessism and luck in next year's electments.

AZTheta 11-06-2009 10:15 AM

seroniously, this thread may be the victoriousmost entrancement in the NYTimes contest on creatine neologisms.

(and $10.00 to the first person who identifies the real word in that statement and no fare to the SLP I know on GC who can spot it insistentaneously. You know who you are and are discomqualified).

I believe the word being referenced was "neologisms." (Former Linguistics major and current fifty-cent-word geek, right here...) ;)

AZTheta 11-06-2009 10:29 AM

Well shoot. I didn't even consider neologisms because I thought that was obvious.

Don't you mean unacceptablatory? Only nounisms end in -tion. ;)

If I had meant unacceptablatory I would have said unacceptablatory. Clearly, you're not up to speed on recent adjustions to adjectivity transitivitalism. Hers was an obvious case of unacceptablation.

Obliviously it's neologisms.

Oh, how humidifying. Someone already got it.

Apologments accepted. I know it's tough to stay currentic in today's ever-evolvanizing vernacular climate. I would've used acceptablatory too if I hadn't just read something online about acceptablation. Easy mistake to make. 'tsall good. :p

Thanks. I am remindated of one of my favorish Calvin and Hobbes cartoonations:

Only now, of course, Hobbes would say "Maybe we can eventuallistically make languagism a completish impendimentation to understandment."

This thread is pretty dang funny.

As if that wasn't enough, I'm watching the 5 o' clock news right now. The Maricopa County (AZ) Sheriff came to San Diego today to lend his support to a candidate running for Sheriff here. There were some people who came out to demonstrate against him - they accuse him of racism back in AZ.

When one demonstrator was interviewed on camera, he claimed that the Sheriff supports racial profiling. He alleged that officers in Maricopa County stop people with broken tail lights,

"....just to check on their immigrational status."

.....Kelly :)

I feel like we should haiku about this...

Rejectment happens
Don't be depressionated
Life moveism on

ASTalumna06 11-08-2009 03:36 PM

Hilarious thread :D

But I just read through the whole thing at once. To those among us who are intelligent.. Don't do it. You'll get a headache. To everyone else... read on!

And I think that every thread should be required to have at least one Haiku included somewhere within the posts. It makes things so much more entertainistic.

Rejectment can hurt...
when you know someone thinks it's
a real word. Stupid.

southbymidwest 11-08-2009 07:38 PM

I weep rejectment
Rain on my paradium
Oh! Despondention

knight_shadow 11-08-2009 07:45 PM

Can't believe this thread is still going, but I'll bite...

I won't be apologeticism. I removed it on porpoise.

Don't be so negativistic or depressionated, I'm sure he will find another one of your estimated quotes to use some other time.

I'll need to find some inspirationlousness before I'll altar my signatorium.

When GC " haikus",
you just know that it is done;
