It's great to have another brother posting on GC! To answer your question, you should ask your chapter brothers for ideas. No one is going to want to go to a brotherhood event they wouldn't want to do otherwise. Depending on your chapter's finances, things like going paintballing, bowling, maybe a camping trip/retreat would be suggestions I have. One thing to also consider is you don't necessarily have to have huge events to promote brotherhood. Regular events like group study sessions, pick-up games of sports, lunches together also go a long way between the bigger events and other events like chapter meetings.

Hope that helped a bit!

OMG - is there really some action in our forum?

An idea I got from the Iowa chapter was to have small brotherhood events each week on the same night that are not dependant on the number of people who can attend and do not involve a lot of planning. They should be as simply as going somewhere to get dinner, playing poker, watching a movie at the house, etc. It's an easy way to have events and something constant the the brothers can depend on having. Its also a great non-threatening event to invite potential recruits from.

And also, broomball. Have you ever played it? It's freaking awesome.
