The legendary Cicely Tyson, Honorary Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, has passed away at age 96.

Wow, ninety-six years! She ALWAYS appeared younger than her true age.

I have been a fan of Miss Tyson for years, and it's terribly hard for me to accept that there will be no new movies. Such a vital force!

I always thought of her as dignified and graceful—even in roles where those attributes weren’t apparent. She was alway so well groomed and beautifully dressed—and YES!—she seemed AGELESS!

RIP to this legend! She did seem so vivacious and her memoir was released a few days before her passing
