Way back when I was at IU, three sorority chapters closed after spring semester 1994. New members were given the option to be released or to be initiated and take alumna status after the semester. One sorority’s new members all chose to initiate, another chapter only had one new member initiate, and I’m not sure about the third. (I’m not giving away any top-secret information or gossip.
