Hello ladies. im a sigma gamma rho interest. Ive wanted to be a part of this organization for the longest time. Ive done alot of reasearch but theres only one thing i havent been able to decifer. Do you have to be a christian woman to be a part of this organization? Im muslim, and although im not super religious i do maintain my beliefs. Is there anything i should know that would conflict with that? We have to same morals and ethics so i cant really see a reason why. When i ask this, i by no means mean to pry into information or practices that i havent earned the right to know. Just kinda like a heads up so i know if i should go forward or not. thanks in advance
I know one Muslim Soror who chooses to cover her hair, and she has a fierce collection of different colored scarves and pins. We have several others who are less outwardly visible, and active. It's alllllllll good.
I know that Omega Psi Phi is founded on Christian Principles, but I don't know if any of the other NPHC fraternities and sororites are founded that way and if any of them are whether they emphasize them to the same level as Omega Psi Phi does.
