Any Gamma Sigs in social sororities as well?

I was thinking about rushing panhellenic next year...
I just wondered if any of you have done this, and how it affected your completion of service (if it did) or if you found it was too time consuming to stay involved with Gamma Sig and a Panhel.
Were any of your Panhellanic sisters upset that you were a part of Gamma Sig?
Do you feel Gamma Sig affected your ability to get bids?
Thanks!

wiw why am i just now seeing this? in short, OF COURSE you can do both GSS and a social org...within the group that reactivated @ HU two were already members of a social sorority (SGRho to be exact), several of us were already in other orgs (TBS, SAI, BKX), and since our journey five years ago, sisters have joined DST and ZPhiB too...with more on the way!

As an aside, I believe that at least two of our founders were in an NPC sorority at the time GSS was founded.

Does anyone have that specific info? I thought I had posted it here somewhere, but I can't find it right now.

Well. Allow me to say this, it only will get in the way if you dont balance your time wisely and establish your priorities properly. Im a member of several organizations as well so I had to learn time management so it can be done with ease.

thank you!

thank you for your help! i've been waiting for a reply to this for awhile! I really think I am going to go through recruitment this fall and try to balance it w/ gamma sig and see how it goes. Hopefully it will work out well, I'm usually pretty decent about time management.
My only concern is, what if chapters are at the same time!? because knowing my luck they will be.
