Unmasking the what? I can't read the swirly twirly lettering on their sign.

I really like the Mardi Gras and Grateful Dead themes.

Do they release a bid list? I'm curious as to where (if anywhere) the girl I wrote a rec for went. I've been out of town and haven't had a chance to ask, and her facebook hasn't been updated in about 2 weeks

LOL...I would think GEAUX would be forbidden in Ole Miss territory since that's an LSU term. It's been co-opted for the Saint's, but in SEC world GEAUX is very LSU.

[QUOTE=OleMissGlitter;2097368]Sorry for the double post.
Here are some pics from a few other sororities on campus.

Delta Gamma Banner

Can I be an over-critical snob and say the DG banner is not all that impressive? Between the ill-advised AOPi-ish design of the 2011, the un-even/sloppy lettering all the way around, and the vaguely negative connotations of the slogan itself (I know it's an anchor thing but holding something or someone down isn't necessarily an accomplishment), it strikes me as below average (probably more so compared to the outstanding DDD design, which while not 100% original is very well done). I'm sure they're a great group, though - perhaps next year just a bit more effort there? Yikes, now I feel all catty...

I think the slogan should have read "Anchoring the row", but yes, I agree with you

They do not release the lists. Each chapter will usually have an announcement in the school paper with names. PM me the name and I'll see what I can find out.

I work with women this age. Holding it down is not a negative thing. Trust me, in the context/place/time in which it's being used, the connotations are not negative. It roughly translates to having it under control.
