Do they take that bag and fill it with goodies? I guess I'm thinking, you buy a $45 bag, add a t-shirt and other paraphernalia, you could be spending $75 per NM, and if you get 60, that's about $4500!! That seems a little much Small greek world girl here though.

any recent news?
Those of you who are in, or in close contact with, chapters at UF...
Do you know of any chapters who at this time did NOT make quota? Or who initiated less than those who first pledged?
I'm hoping to rush during Spring next week, and I'm praying that someone has space for me!
Thanks a bunch!
First go Gators, then go Greek!

christina, have you checked with the panhellenic office? they would know which chapters might have a space.
i do not believe that zta will be holding informal recruitment.

I have But they never answer my questions quite right and I feel like I'm bugging them. I've also tried contacting a few choice sorority Presidents through facebook and the like, just asking if they have an information about their sorority offering bids, with either no reply, or no definite answers.
I'm not quite sure if I'm going to be waiting until the meeting to find out who'll be giving out bids in Spring, but I really wish I could find out prior, just for my own information.
Honestly, you girls seem to know more than they do! And are a lot nicer at answering my questions

christi86,
I dont know much about UF but I'd imagine that if they just had bid day both the presidents of the individual sororities and the Panhell office is really swamped with paperwork and other such things to do. Most greek organizations, if not all, have a pinning ceremony or some sort close to bid day plus other events. I would give them a week to settle down before you tried getting more information.

Well, they haven't had a bid day yet, last one should have been late August with the fall recruitment. I can understand that since Spring recruitment is coming up they would have a decent amount of work to do. I just hope they can get back to me before recruitment starts...
