Woot! Congratulations on Delta Gamma! I loved the Legally Blonde movies and will read the book this year too.

Congrats

But I thought Alpha Gam wasn't participating in formal recruitment per comments made in this thread http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...t=93045&page=2

they did, as well as DG, SDT, and Gamma Phi Beta! However, I think most of them were inviational only or selective recruitment

One of your new sisters is a good friend of my oldest daughter, and she was in my Guild group in high school. She's beautiful and funny. Have some great videos of her. PM me if you want her name!!

Congrats on DG!

Oh so close to having an Alpha Gam recruitment story.

But to be honest with you... I would have told you to have to go with Emerald because I could see it in your writing that was where you wanted to be. I think you did a wonderful job telling about your recruitment experience and I am very glad you shared what the two groups were!

On another side note... I was going for Princess from the beginning (that is my style of ring) and it is funny that that was AGD in the end.

Congratulations on finding your place!

Congrats to you and Delta Gamma! I really enjoyed your thread. I love the UGA ones.

I also thought you tactfully gave good feedback to the groups. (For example, if you know, say an alumna saw it and thought, "yikes, 15 minutes with no one speaking to you, who would do that?" which may have happened to someone I know.*)

Although you clearly like both groups and made a great decision, it's also helpful for a group to see all the things that influence a decision, especially when expressed tactfully and sincerely.

*I'm really not being critical of the chapter; they obviously made a good impression in spite of this, and they found wonderful new members, but it truly is good to know so next year they can make sure they do better in this area.
