Exclamation "forest fire" in North Korea makes 2mile-wide mushroom cloud

SEOUL (Reuters) - A huge explosion rocked North Korea near the border with China three days ago, producing a mushroom cloud that sparked speculation Pyongyang might have tested an atomic weapon, Yonhap news agency reported on Sunday.

Reuters

CNN: The U.S. official said the cloud could be the result of a forest fire.

In all the forest fires we've had in the US... how come none have made a huge mushroom cloud or left a blast crater?

Forest fire, my ass... the DPRicKs just swung their nuclear Norbecker in the breeze... and it reeks of cover-up! Time to park a boomer (nuclear ballistic missile submarine) within range of Pyongyang... it's time to tell that troll-looking DANK (Dumb-Assed North Korean) Kim Jong Il, "Go ahead, make my day... I'd love to see Pyongyang turned into a self-illuminating parking lot, public opinion be damned!"

I have to say BULLSH*T... I have yet to see a forest fire form a mushroom cloud.

Nevermind that North Korea has been suspected of experitmenting with nukes... the fact that this happened near the Chinese border (farther away from spying eyes) and near a missile base is more than a little convient to be explained away by a forest fire story.

Well maybe the world can help deal with this problem instead of pretending it's just a USA issue now.

If I recall right it was the USA under GWBush that declined to sit in talks with North Korea.

Actually no you're a liar and misconstruing facts to try and spread propoghanda. Nothing new for a Democrat who has to lie and make everything a campaign issue.

They did sit down to talk with the DPRK along with Japan and China. However, it just turned into the DPRK making demands like money and food and not giving any kind of guarantees. So, the White House, the Japanese and Chinese did the only sensible thing -- they walked away from the table until the DPRK was ready to behave like adults.

Still hasn't happened.

They just want to use nukes to extort food and money from the rest of the world.

They'll find however, that if they use them, they'll suddenly become as AlphaSig says: A self-illuminated parking lot.

That just makes reunifying the peninsula a whole lot easier- unite a 2nd world nuclear waste dump with a developed nation that prides itself on education and you'll have a booming sector for cleaning up the North.

It's nice that they're developing some infratstructure. I wish they'd have taken pictures of their blowing up a mountain. That would have been some cool stuff to watch.

If this had to happen, I'm glad that it happened near the Chinese border. Now maybe China will be willing to help form a coalition, with teeth, to take on Kim Jong-Il.
