As both a former member of I-team and a former Rho Chi, please understand something. Girls lie. A girl who dropped your group gains nothing by saying that she cut you, so if you ask her, she might just say "Oh, I didn't get invited back." You, as a chapter member, do not necessarily know what really happened. If your chapter has anything like I-team, THEY make the ultimate decisions, no matter how much they act like the chapter has a big say in the outcome. Sometimes I-team knows things that you do not know, which are unneccessary to share with the chapter. If a girl doesn't come back, look at it as just that. A girl not coming back. Whether it was due to her decision or the chapter's decision should be of little importance at that point.

Sorry

You may not be able to answer this question, but what is I-team?

Alright, I will tell you MISTAKES DO HAPPEN. Last year, as chapter president, I was working on bid lists with our computer chair, advisor, and rush chair until 6am after most rounds.

1200 girls/2 hours of sleep=well, i am not sure, but around the point where we think it is funny that someone's initials spell out ARM, you can't really expect us to be perfect.

I know of an instance several years ago where the computer dropped an entire preference party of 50 girls-panhell. would not allow those girls to be invited back (the chapter was prepared to call every girl before the preference party to let them know they had not been dropped) panhell did nothing to help. So the girls thought the chapter had dropped them but it did not. It makes me so mad just thinking about it.

Unfortunately, I know of several more instances-what has made me angry is panhell would not do anything to help out and they would not rectify the situation. I can now see how a PNM can be accidentally dropped-especially in the large/competetive rushes. It is so sad that some of these PNM's blame themselves when it wasn't anything they did but a stupid computer glitch.
