I'm doing a little research for a sister of mine who is moving to North Hollywood. She is coming from PA, so needless to say it's going to be a little bit of culture shock!
She would like to stay involved in Greek life on some level. Unfortunately, ASA only has one alum chapter in CA - in San Diego, which is quite a distance. I think she would like to get settled before she tries to start a new alum chapter. I was wondering if there was an alumnae Panhellenic in that area where she could be a member at large?

33girl, just out of curiosity, which college in San Diego had an ASA chapter? I don't recall one at San Diego State, and there isn't one currently at USD or UCSD.
...to definitely get involved with the Alum Panhel group there in SoCal...the alum Panhel association I founded here a year and a half ago is pretty well-represented by many of the NPC's 26 sororities (we have 18 & about 100 members), but we have no ASA's at all I have always maintained that the closer we can get to having members from all 26 groups, the better we will be.
