I love Bunco! We played at RLC this weekend (I actually learned it there) and it was so much fun, and I took second place!!!!

Hang in there. It's not an easy job trying to motivate and lead a young alumni chapter. One suggestion might be to have regular teleconferences with your executive board. This would cut down on travel, and allow the chapter to get some business discussed.

We do a lot of "spouse/family-friendly" type things. Usually every 1-2 months we take turns hosting a bbq or gathering at somebody's house. Most of us are in our 30s with wives and kids (me being the exception). The kids all play together, the brothers get nostalgic (and or a little stupid), and the wives bond over talking about what big dorks their husbands are!

Seriously though, a lot of the wives are sorority members and say they feel more connected with our alum chapter than they do with their own precisely because we do these kinds of events.

Sometimes I wish I still lived in Indy so I could go more often!
