Black Greek Life at North Texas

From a difficult past to a brighter future, two Pan-Hellenic black organizations have persevered through racism and discrimination while striving to find their identity in the NT landscape.

The Omega Psi Phi fraternity and the Delta Sigma Theta sorority were the first chartered, all black Pan-Hellenic organizations to join numerous other sororities and fraternities at NT in the late 1960s.

well... the story was poorly written, like everything ever written in the NT Daily, but it's nice to see that they can write something nicer about greeks for once.

I am curious, Lyrica, why you think the article is not well written? I thought it was a nicely written article with a positive tone. Perhaps we aren't reading the same article?

it does have a positive tone, but as a former editor i'm really picky about certain journalistic things, and to me it read like a high school news story, but that's how i usually feel about the stories in the daily.
