This is our dormant Delta Nu which went inactive in 1992 or so. The chapter was chartered on 4/4/59. Our past International President was charter member. Wouldn't it be neat to re-charter on their 50th anniversary on April 4th 2009? (It was a Sat in 1959 too!)

Temple is in recruitment right now for our colony (we went dormant in 1992) and we expect to be colonizing about 75-80 women next weekend!

I am definitely waiting for that day to come. I know that a lot of Psi alumna are waiting to. I still live in Athens and pass the "House" everyday. It pains me so much to not see our letters on there and it being so empty. We have so much history here at UGA and I can't wait make our grand entrance again.

As far as the DPhiE house at UGA, to my knowledge, it has been sold to the University. So therefore, it is now UGA property. I believe the University is to turn it into an academic building of some sort. Just not sure what.

Hey Rachel! I know that after I graduated (2005) the membership was down and it was difficult to recruit as you know how tough UGA recruitment is. When I pledged, we had about 50 women in the chapter and over the years it continued to go down. I recently went to the presentation DPHiE Expansion team did at Georgia College and State University did in Milledgeville (they did an AWESOME job and I hope we get invited to colonize...crossing my fingers!). They told me that they are working on UGA so if we ever get the green light I hope Psi's alumni comes full force! The house is no longer ours. It is now part of the University as a International Diversity building. It would look amazing with our letters of course.
