Question Finding alumni in your area

I did multiple searches, so my apoligies if this was already answered. I'm the first in my family to hopefully end up in the greek system. I read in another thread to look up local alumni groups and try to meet with people there for recommendations. However, through a number of Google searches and looking through the phone book, I came up empty handed. If there is anyone who could help, that'd be great. OR if you know what I should type into Google to find alumni organizations, that'd be great too.

Also, I sent an e-mail to npccentral@npcwomen.org, although I'll be honest in not being sure if I asked for the proper thing/went about getting my info the right way.

Anyway, any help is GREATLY appriciated. Thanks.

Not sure where you are in Colorado... but at least that gets you started.

Growing up in CO, I don't remember Greek life being "talked up" very much while I was in high school. In fact, the only exposure I had before I got to college, was a small table about sorority recruitment at one of the CSU visit days. (I did not end up going to school there).
You may have to do some digging to find active sorority alums to write you recs. Did you try asking your teachers, members of your church, your mom's friends? You'll be amazed at who comes out of the woodwork.

its true. once you find one sorority alumna, she generally will know some ladies in other sororities or will have a sorority sister who does-as we have said time and again, it is all about the networking.
