Shug skirt - short short double ruffled skirt - $299.00 (I could make one for $30)
Bonafanti shoes - thick lug sole shoes, sandals and boots. Priced around $125.00
Couple more designer shoes that are supposedly popular
Golden Goose sneakers - Star on the side of high tops, low tops plain white to sequins and metallics, $385.00 to $900.00
Vintage Havana sneakers - also decorated with a star but WAY more reasonably priced.

And I thought I was so chic in my Bobbie Brooks, Ship-n-Shore, Villager, and Aigner and Pappagallo shoes. All which would not have totaled $900.

Got to love those colorful wool clothes!

Ditto….my high school wardrobe in PA was mostly Villager, John Meyer of Norwich, Villager, and Bobbi Brooks. Sweaters, skirts, and (of course) the matching knee socks and Aigner, Bass, and Pappagallo shoes were popular. They were quite pricey, but high quality. I remember saving my money from my jobs at restaurants and the hospital cafeteria to buy a coveted outfit.

I get 90s flashbacks from them! Black boots with thick soles? And the sandals would definitely be something we would wear back then.

I'd take wearing flatforms and thick soled shoes walking to the houses over the high heels and wedges of the past!

And if you're reading this PNMs, please pack a pair of comfy shoes to walk in and swap them for your nice shoes when you get to the house.
