My grand-little was from London and being in the chapter was a great way for her to have a family at school with her biological family 8000 miles away.

I think having international students is more common at some schools than at others. Pepperdine has a lot of international students who are there for four years. We've had a number of amazing women from this group join our chapter.

My chapter has a sister who pledged/initiated several years ago who is German. She is now a flight attendant for Lufts whatever airlines.

Course she's not active but still keeps in touch with others from what I have heard.

I've found that it doesn't matter if someone is "international" or lives across the street from campus all their life, someone is involved or not.
