Joe Paterno's connection to Chi Omega

Please join me in expressing sincere condolences to the entire Paterno family. Both of Joe's daughters, Diana and Mary Kay, are alumnae of the Nu Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega at Penn State.

Joe Paterno posed in 1966 with his 1-year-old daughter Mary Kathryn on his lap and his wife Suzanne, with 2-year-old daughter Diana Lynne, at their home in University Park, Pa.

That's a good question. I was wondering the same thing.

P.S. Sorry for the crash! I didn't realize until after I posted that this was a Chi Omega thread.

Crashing just to say that I'm happy to have learned a bit of history about the Paterno family and their connection to Greek Life!

Don't forget that JoePa was an active Greek himself.

^^^thank you for sharing this. It really speaks to what I believe and espouse: the bonds of membership are strong and for a lifetime. Those young DKE brothers did exactly the right thing, and clearly, Mr. Paterno maintained a lifelong relationship of some sort with his fraternity.
