Sigs Compete on NBC's "Deal or No Deal"

The blue and old gold will be going for the green, as Sigs from Southern California compete for a $1 million jackpot on the April 16 episode of the NBC series "Deal or No Deal."

Consul Trey Milburn, 2009; Ryan Abboushi, 2008; Eric Cox, 2010; and Drew Huffman, 2012; will represent the Fraternity onstage, with the rest of their chapter cheering them on from the audience. The four Sigs will work together as a team, choosing a briefcase at the beginning of the show from the 26 available. Each briefcase contains an unknown dollar amount ranging from $0.01 to $1 million. The players will then entertain "deals" from the show’s mysterious "Banker" that offer cash amounts for them to quit the game, all while they eliminate the remaining briefcases in the hopes of having originally picked the $1 million case.

Sigma Chi beat out more than 50 other fraternities and sororities from the state of California for the chance to appear on the Howie Mandel-hosted game show.

"[NBC] chose us because we had a lot of energy, and they knew we wanted to raise the money for house improvements and charity," Milburn says. "And to have the chance to do that and promote Sigma Chi on prime-time television was a great experience."

The April 16 episode, which will air at 7 p.m. CST on NBC, will feature a Spring Break theme.
