Qualifications

The Position
As a result of this growth, we are currently looking for highly motivated, experienced professionals to join the John Deere Agri Services team. We are looking for individuals with four-year or master’s degree in an Ag-related discipline (Ag Economics, Agri Business, Ag Sciences, Agronomy) or Risk Management and 5+ years of experience in the agribusiness, precision agriculture or risk management industry.
Production Optimization — 5+ years in the agribusiness, precision agriculture and/or agronomic consulting industry. Agronomy background. Agronomic market research experience. Strong business acumen, preferably from actual business experience. Business plan development and execution. Technical product/service development process.
Project/Program Management — Experience and skills as listed above and very strong project management skills. Experience with large, complex multi-site/functional projects. Six Sigma, Process Pro and/or PMI/PMP certification.
Customer Development and Sales - 5+ years of executive-level national account management experience. Familiar with precision agriculture, crop protection and fertilizer distribution channels. Agri-business industry experience. Proven sales closing and commission selling experience.
