lavaliere-ing

I have a friend who's guy has graduated, but she is still in school. Can he still lavaliere her? Or is that dictated by chapeter? is it even possible? Thanks!

I would assume he could.

Opinion alert: if MY boyfriend had graduated I'd probably want a nice piece of jewelry like a bracelet or something, not a lavaliere.

I had a sister who was a junior and her boyfriend had just graduated the June before from the same school. He lavaliered her over the phone- she was on the phone with him when his fraternity brothers showed up and presented her with the lavalier. It was very sweet and worked mainly because 1) he was from our school, so his fraternity brothers were in on it and 2) lavaliering was a big deal on my campus.

I think it completely depends on campus culture.

He should check with his chapter and find out for himself.
