Thumbs up Thank you, Ladies!!

I haven't been posting a lot for various reasons, but I think we've all been a little lax about something.

For at least the last 2-3 years, Jill has faithfully kept track of all of the PNM Recruitment Stories. She's listed them, along with links, then posted the results (when and if she gets them). Jill has kept a tally of which GLO took how many GreekChat PNMs, even while the impatient among us sometimes abuse her for not keeping the tally up-to-this-very-second at all times. Jill has taken on a thankless job, and each of us who ever reads this particular Forum owe her a HUGE round of applause!

In ADPi, we'd say, "Violets to you, Jill!" and I say that with all my heart. Your spirit of Panhellenic sisterhood is an example we could all emulate - bless you real good, Jill!!

Not to rain on Jill's parade, but PenguinTrax and Carnation both work tirelessly during Recruitment season(s) to keep this Forum going. I admire your faithfulness to GreekChat and to keeping your Forums running so smoothly. To both of you, I offer Bouquets of Violets, too!

~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ THANK YOU, LADIES!! ~*~~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~

Honeychile, thank you! You are da bomb! I really enjoy doing the tally. it's "my baby" on here! And as far as updating, I was kinda slack this summer--for a good reason. Some of you may know, I was in the process of a HUGE move (the husband got transferred).

The SEC schools started recruitment in mid August and it was the worst timing for me. 11 days of chaos

I drove down to California with my husband (thank goodness we loaded his car down with stuff--you never know about when you the movers will ship your stuff), had a few mishaps (if I ever find out who dropped that fencing on I-5, I swear I will kill them with my bare hands), got him settled in his buddy's place right outside Oakland, did house hunting, signed a lease, set up utilities and he started work--that was all in the first 4 days

I flew back up north to pack and get things packed and ready for the movers, shipped my car, packed up the cats for the flight to the Bay Area. (kitty tranqulizers rock!) Then we had buy some household effects and wait for my car and the furniture (DO NOT GET ME STARTED!)

I was going to the library and my mother in law's place to update the recruitment threads. I was glad my husband bought a laptop so I could keep up while we moved in to our house and waited for our stuff.

Honeychile, and everyone thanks for the mad props! I am really touched and I so enjoy the trials and tribulations of seeing folks find their new homes

PenguinTrax and Carnation thanks for running a tough forum. Y'all keep a tight ship!

Again, thanks so much

I have been wondering that! I am ready to start the thread!

Mr. 1228's contract has been renewed for another 2 years YAY! So barring no complications (like the landlord wanting to sell the house--I would be pissed!) this recruitment season will be easier! (knock wood)
